Chungking Bristle are bristles from hogs raised in the region of the Chinese city of Chungking and are considered to be the best for Oil painting, having long, deep flags. Theoretically the longer the flags the better the bristle. Used mainly for Oil, Acrylic and hobby ceramics. The interlocked ‘curved’ heads allow retention of shape. If you like a brush which offers more grain and texture to your mark, look no further.
 
The long flats allow for a fuller load of paint to your brush. They will make your stoke a little looser than the short flats, and the long flats do allow for a larger paint application.
